Whole house connection
In this video, you can see how you can record a complete house connection with Vaira Office and the Vaira app.
As an example, we take a workflow that we created with EWE for the recording of gas house connections.
Whether it’s man-hours, construction materials used or other service items: with Vaira, you can also record your expenses more easily than ever digitally.
The Vaira app can read and process the welding data directly from the welding machine. The welding records are exported automatically and the paperwork is done.
Measure with your smartphone free of charge and create photo documentation on your smartphone free of charge – getting started with digital construction documentation with Vaira is child’s play!
You can record distance, area or volume directly for your forms, services or materials using the quick measurement function.
With Vaira, you have all the forms directly on your smartphone – at the same time as everyone else working on the process. Once completed, the construction file is directly on the site manager’s desk.
Vaira goes one step further: our app uses truth fields and conditions to ensure that you enter the correct data. Mandatory fields prevent you from accidentally forgetting fields. Linked fields save you documentation work.
The digital data flows directly to all other participants. You don’t have to pay attention to neat handwriting – everyone can read your digital data without any problems.

Super fast and child’s play: Vaira is your new surveying tool for quality-assured digital dimensioning sketches. Run through your construction project and place survey points on components and pipes at the touch of a button. You can already see distances and heights while surveying. Multi-section surveys are also easily possible.
Each surveyed point is automatically photographed. This allows contractors and suppliers to prove that the survey was carried out correctly as part of quality assurance.
The survey data is also made available as a digital data set for transfer to GIS systems: via interface or .dxf, .shp or .geoJSON file export.
The fully digital survey allows seamless and error-free transfer of the survey results to subsequent systems in real time.
Inspection in the office
Vaira creates 3D maps of the situation for the survey. We now make these point cloud models available for further processing in the office. Before-and-after documentation and proof of performance have never been easier to understand. This way, you can document in a future-proof way, even for BIM or CIM requirements.
Large surveys are no problem for Vaira.
You have the choice between the Trimble Catalyst DA2 antenna and the viDoc® as an external RTK rover, which connect immediately and open up all the possibilities of freely positioned surveying.
Vaira automatically sends the recorded coordinates to the SAPOS correction service. So you have a high-precision surveying tool in your hand. Operation is intuitive as usual. Anyone can now take GPS measurements.
The measurement data is clearly displayed in the Vaira app and shared with all process participants in a matter of seconds. The measurement data can be transferred to other systems such as your GIS via interfaces or via .dxf, .shp, or .geoJSON file export/import.

With the connection to a web feature service, the GIS data is available to the people on site on an order-related basis.
In Vaira, you create a data source for the GIS connection and integrate it into your workflows. You can also share it with your service providers. You always retain full control over your data.
In addition to the transformation of AR survey data based on GIS information, even more goals can be achieved: Plan information with real-time data, location sounding, editing GIS objects and more.
Digitize GIS processes
Some devices on the construction site already produce data. Until now, however, this has often remained in the device and has only been logged manually.
Welding machines are another valuable source of data for Vaira. This is because they already generate all the data required for documentation. With our integration, this data is made available for Vaira’s powerful data processing.
For example, a fully digital recording process for welds can be integrated into Vaira’s process control with the welding machines from Georg Fischer.

Surveying is a broad field – and the use cases demand maximum flexibility from the tools.
Vaira is your tool that is constantly evolving to support you even better in your valuable work.
Our partnerships with Trimble and vigram to integrate the Catalyst DA2 antenna or viDoc® into Vaira are an example of this. The optional addition of a powerful GNSS receiver to the smartphone, with or without a laser distance meter, also makes it possible to survey large construction projects.
This also makes order processing for fiber optic providers such as Telekom child’s play.
Establish a connection
With its software-as-a-service approach, Vaira ensures real-time data exchange and seamless communication. This is made possible by the use of state-of-the-art cloud technology, which can also perform computing-intensive tasks remotely and in a matter of seconds – and at a fraction of the cost of operating a high-maintenance on-premise solution on your own servers.
All data is mirrored multiple times and all communication is encrypted and secured in the data centers. This means that the data is always secure and accessible, even if individual servers fail.
Our infrastructure is operated in Germany and meets all GDPR requirements. We protect your data against targeted attacks with extensive security measures.
